I found the boss dropping these, "somewhere"

. I killed him for an hour straight over and over again, but with no green dagger drop. Then I showed a guildie to see if they could get them and they dropped for him. So does anyone know if you need to have 2 people in your party or is it just random?

Random, my guildie mate did this with a couple of henchies, luckily for me he's not an assassin yet, so I got it ;-)

Strangely enough it was still in pre-searing, it was in the west of the mountains between Kinya Province and Sunqua Vale.

Yes, I've gotten them before, they're from the boss of the same name in the northwest corner of the island. He's sitting in a pile of mantids.

I am confused about these pincers, as they are green but are not max damage. I bought a set and customized them but have since found a purple pair which are 6-13, and the gold are even more. I thought green weapons were always max dmg.

these green can drop from low level bosses and are not max dmg but have max mods so making them useful for low level chars

They dont even have max mods: 10/10 sundering is far from max since the upgrade
